A Tooth for A Tooth

By Lars-Toralf Storstrand

Historical fiction | Paperback, eBook

Consider an SS-officer, skimming the finest gold teeth from the ones he's already stolen from his victims during the day. This time he steals them from the Third Reich. His plan is to run away and hide — and with enough gold to have a secure life. Consider him marrying a Jewess, fleeing from her Jewishness, and settling in a small community in Western Norway. Consider a young boy, writing about a disappeared SS-officer for a school research project, only to find out he used to live just around the corner — befriending his wife. Consider a Jewish family on the run.

Lars-Toralf Storstrand was born at the Isle of Stord, a few years before the summer of love. In his mid-20's he started working as a journalist, a few years later he began to translate. After 15 years he began to develop his education, and finalized a BA in English language and History at the University of Bergen. He is married and has four children, two adult and two younger, but has left Norway.
