In a small town in the cold, unforgiving mountains
of the New Mexico territory, a strange sound begins
echoing near the main street entrance.
The noise grows louder and can be heard from a great distance, like church bells ringing on a Sunday morning. The piercing chimes are soon accompanied by hard thunderous claps.

The deafening noise drowns out the chatter of townfolks gathered along the main street. All heads turn to the ruckus as business signs begin to rattle and windows shake.

Then suddenly everything stops.

A creepy silence blows in across the dry and dusty road. And there, standing tall at the edge of town is a very large man. His shadow almost swallows up the entire street block.

Upon witnessing this man-made eclipse, the people in the streets begin to cry out and flee as if their lives depended on it. A blistering grin, hot enough to melt the
cold winter snow, surfaces upon the giant’s face. He lumbers over toward the local post office. The giant’s massive hand engulfs the entire collage of wanted posters decorating the outside of the post office. He takes them with him as he squeezes in
through the entrance. The locals inside cower and hide as he stomps over toward the customer service counter.

For this man’s story is well known, from the youngest child to the eldest man. His presence is strong and cold. He is dressed in black from head to toe. His hat slightly tilted downward to the left covers a scar that he has carried with him from childhood. The mark alone can tell many stories.
