A stable wormhole has been established between Earth and Innovia. Those displaced by the nuclear explosion on Bird Island several months ago can now go home. Families and friends are invited to a reunion, which will include Power Blaster's wedding. Desi Troyes has been captured and waits in a locked room to be transported to Sprawling Prison after the wedding. His associates, The Desperadoes, will go to any lengths to get him back. Power Blaster's wedding is under threat as the Desperadoes spring into action. When she does, her sister and her best friend have surprises in store. As study of the wormholes progresses, Shanna sets out to help a friend with a crippling mutation, but is captured by aliens. She is determined to rescue a fellow prisoner, who, unknown to Shanna, holds the key to Power Blaster's mysterious origins.

Julie Howlin lives in Somerset, England with her husband. She started writing full time in 2013 after being made redundant from a charity supporting the families of prisoners.
