Small-time investigator Yancey Franklin has thwarted the plans of a ruthless enemy to unleash biochemical weapons in Northern Ontario. I spent several decades working as a programmer – a few years in scientific programming but mainly doing real-time programming for automation. It was time for a change, so I left the software development rat-race to take up the care-free life of an author. When I’m not writing, I enjoy tinkering in my workshop creating knick knacks and fixing things. My latest joy is attempting to re-learn playing guitar (I recently bought a new Seagull Coastline S6). Although my lack of musical talent makes that process painful for others, I quite enjoy it. On the culinary side, I’m pretty good at baking buns, biscuits, and cookies. During the cooler months (and we have a lot of those in Canada), my wife (aka “She Who Must Be Obeyed”) and I enjoy curling up in front of the roaring fireplace with our cats and Spanish Coffee.
