Dizzied by Chance: Poems of a Fringe Existence

By Adam Moursy

Poetry, General non-fiction | Paperback, eBook

'Dizzied by Chance' is the second book of poetry by Adam Moursy. In this more story-driven title, Moursy's ongoing, questionable behavior lands him in a rut, with the only silver lining being that of his seemingly worse-off peers, whose disheveled lives are a constant reminder that there's always more room to fall.

Adam Moursy was born in New York City in 1986. He's lived in and around the city ever since, with much of his adult life influenced by street culture, heavy drinking, and overall debauchery. To no surprise, he writes what he knows -- hard-hitting anecdotes from both the past and present, without many frills. He was first published at the age of twenty-four, and has appeared in several lit mags and poetry journals in the US and UK. Moursy's first full-length collection, 'Slinking Under the Electric Bulb', was published in 2012, followed by 'Dizzied by Chance: Poems of a Fringe Existence' and 'Wine-Stained Parts and Dirty Talk' in 2013.
