Four in the Morning: A Story that will Break your Heart

By Phillipa James

General fiction, Romance, Crime & mystery | eBook

To the outside world, Claudia Stevenson has the perfect life: a fulfilling marriage, two gorgeous children and a successful career. But behind closed doors she is living her own secret nightmare. A verbally abusive relationship has left her with more questions than answers, more self-doubt than self love. An unintended love triangle threatens to destroy her world as she knows it. An unexpected turn of events leads her on a path where she will watch her life turn on its head in a tragic twist of circumstances that will leave you breathless and gasping for more. Based on a true story, Four in the Morning is a story of love, tragedy, forgiveness and redemption and is dedicated to a family whose lives were left shattered in the aftermath of events that will never be fully understood.

Phillipa James was born to British parents in South Africa in December 1972. While studying to become a journalist, she trained as a specialist book supplier and has worked in the industry for over 22 years. Watching the growth of other prominent online giants in the early nineties, she established Red Pepper Book Company in 1998 and built and launched her online bookstore in South Africa in late 1999. Having being exposed to thousands of life-changing books during her time in the industry, many of which changed the course of her life in ways that would not have happened otherwise, her dream is to get people reading, whether it's a dog-eared paperback or an audio book being read to you while you drive. She is the proud mother of two children and is besotted with cats and the plight of abandoned animals. "Four in the Morning" is her first published work.
