Sue Henderson was born in Liverpool and was brought up on a diet of meat and 4 Beatles. Sue has long since given up eating meat but she still hasn't given up The Beatles. She became a vegetarian in 1984 and moved to Perthshire, Scotland with her husband and 2 children in 1989. She was inspired to write her book "Gluten Free Vegetarian Cookbook" after her daughter was diagnosed with gluten intolerance. This came as a shock, as she had believed by following a vegetarian diet she had been giving her children the best start without suspecting that her daughter was suffering from coeliac disease. A Vegetarian coeliac cookbook was born out of her predicament. Her cook book offers a selection of family gluten-free vegetarian recipes.
