Darryl Littleton began his comedy career writing for “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” on CBS Radio. His wit landed him a job as D. L. Hughley’s exclusive writer for BET’s “Comic View”, where Darryl went on to pen material for Cedric the Entertainer, Sommore and Don DC Curry. He was a columnist for “Comedy the Magazine” and “The Humor Mill”. He wrote the book, “Black Comedians on Black Comedy”, chronicling the history of African-American comedy. This prestigious work is taught at USC and is a fixture in libraries throughout the country. Darryl is the Associate Curator of the Comedy Hall of Fame and published “Pimp Down: The Rise & Fall of Katt Williams”, “Forefathers”, “Comediennes: Laugh Be a Lady” and “How to Be Funny: The Essential Comedy Handbook”; a tutorial on the art of laughter.
