Authors: (Francois S Schwob & Josheel Dole). The book came about due to our motivation in sharing our success in losing significant weight and living a healthy lifestyle. We wanted to help inspire others on the path to weight loss using the tips that we found in our research. There are thousands of resources out there, and the people who live busy lifestyles don’t have the time to go through and implement them. As a result, we wanted to show others that they can successfully lose weight while living their lifestyle. We wanted to show people that our health is very important and that it shouldn’t be neglected. If we have good health, it improves all aspects of our lives (work, social and well-being). The book is made up of four main areas. First are the quirky hints and tips that will help you to lose weight. These can be easily implemented into our daily routines at work. We also show you how to change the type of food you eat (i.e., eating a balanced diet). The second part of the book will show you ways to exercise while at your workstation. These include different type of exercises that you can do while at your morning, night and during your journey to and from work. During the planning stages of creating the book, we were some of the people also trying to lose weight with no means of time to do it. At that time, we had been using shortcut methods of losing weight simply by skipping meals to limit our calorie intake. How wrong we were, and we learned the consequences of using such methods ourselves, thus leading us to further our research. Some of the most important facts we had learned was that it was possible for one to burn lots of calories by performing the simplest tasks in their everyday work life, especially for those who work at a desk. For example, this may include delivering a message in person by walking up to that particular department at your workplace and, at the same time, spending some energy doing it and ultimately adding to your daily calorie burn. Ultimately, this led us to create a book that is full of real, effective methods to lose weight, eat the right stuff and ultimately live a healthy life while incorporating it into one’s busy lifestyle.
