Infernal

By T. Joseph Browder

Horror, Sci-Fi | Paperback, eBook

Richard Farris, a man with a dark past, survives the worst blizzard to ravage the Kansas plains in decades only to discover a woman near death in a snow bank. Cut off by the storm, Richard and his faithful St. Bernard Charlie fight for the life the woman, Sophia, against a shadowy military unit that descends out of nowhere upon them. His home and life in ruins, Richard goes on the run. Months later in California, Sophia finds him again—one step ahead of another strike force sent by BanaTech, a worlds-spanning corporate empire intent on enslaving humanity at the bidding of hellish supernatural forces. Entangled in an ancient war between angels and demons, Richard flees with Sophia through multiple versions of the Universe and even through time itself across landscapes of horror where fantasy is reality and nothing is what it seems…not even Richard’s own identity. They were once of the All. Something wonderful and full of light. But they became wicked…defiled the All and were cast out. So they seek to destroy every good thing. They are evil in its purest form. They are Infernal.

Born in 1969 in Lima, Ohio, T. Joseph Browder is the author of Dark Matters (2012), a self-published, genre blending collection of short stories covering everything from vigilantes to vampires. A graduate of the Long Ridge Writer's Group (both short story and novel writing courses), Browder is a student of human psychology and holds Doctorates in Divinity, Metaphysics, and Religious Humanities. Of his unique style of writing Browder says: "I don't believe in writing in a specific genre. Life doesn't hold to one genre, nor do people. You may discover romance with your signifigant other at 8 a.m. only to find yourself in a horrific car accident at 5 p.m. And maybe you indulged in a little fantasy right around noon. Like life, my stories tend to depict these unexpected twists and turns." "My favorite authors are King, Koontz, Laymon, and Wilson," Browder says. "But I equally love Crichton, Alten, Zahn, and Preston & Child. That's one hell of a crossover. My writing reflects that." Mr. Browder currently lives in Kansas with his wife, Marie.
