Fragments that resonate across time and place, from the Russian civil war in the Ukraine, to the Miners strike in 1984, to growing up an Israeli teenager in the run up to the millennium, to the jaded world weary life of a commercials director in America of the naughties, to the world of animal rights protesters in the 90's. The novel is about the fiction of fiction, of who the author is, who he or she can be, another fantasy projection of the fictions we wrap ourselves in.
