Neil is the author of several books in the horror genre. His first novel The Surgeon was described as 'gritty, fast-paced and nicely inventive.' The collection of horror shorts Don't Drink the Water also received critical acclaim, and his latest novel Nanobite has been called 'fang-tastic'. Neil also writes fantasy fiction for children.
