An alien flees to freedom on our world. She befriends James, a genetics student; shares her knowledge about the future of the human race. She makes a discovery which shakes her world at its foundations. Julie Howlin lives in North Somerset with her husband Arthur. She has written several books - two are about psychic detective Tabitha Drake; one is set in the same universe as this one and the other is a collection of short stories. She also writes two blogs, one about writing and one for trivia fans. She volunteers for the National Trust, belongs to a book club and a singing for fun group. She enjoys drawing, painting, scrapbooking and travel. She has a degree in psychology and a certificate in counselling.
