Space Virgins of the Third Reich

By Saul Wolfe

New adult fiction, General fiction, Hybrid & other, Comedy & satire, Literary fiction | eBook

Gamaliel Publications launches Saul Wolfe’s erotic literary thriller, fusing elements of science fiction, black comedy and political satire into an explicit celebration of female (and male) pleasure. Virginal student Ruth loves vintage clothes and old movies - and lusts after her authoritarian Film Studies lecturer Mr Steel. She’s desperate to impress him by researching the obscure nineteen-fifties sci-fi B-movie ‘Space Virgins of the Third Reich’. Instead our heroine stumbles upon a sinister conspiracy rooted in the occult sciences of the Nazis, launching her on a voyage of wild sexual adventure. Ruth’s friends become entangled in her search for that elusive video tape and the surviving members of the cast. Meet posh Sophie, techno-geek Ben and Goth witch-girl Gosia, all enjoying unexpected and unusual sexual liaisons. Watch out for close-ups of bookseller Colin, obsessed with Edwardian porn, sapphic soul sister Estelle, Charlotte - a very personal tutor, faded film star Dawn Diamond and old-time Soho showbiz character, Bobby Ardent. There’s even a cameo appearance by Father McGuffin, Ruth’s parish priest. You’ll also encounter the Sword Masters of the Order of Ice and Fire - and the Space Virgins… For behind Ruth’s quest there’s a back-story from wartime Germany where pure Aryan maiden Seiglinde, a secretary at a V2 rocket establishment, was co-opted by Oberfuerher Eisendorf for a mysterious project - which has spectacular consequences for contemporary Britain, as well as for Ruth.

He was educated at the Radial City Youth Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Advanced Studies where he specialised in Parapsychology, Reichian Analysis and the Representation of Sexuality in Contemporary Media. He is an Initiate of the Order of the Green Flame, Grade XII and a member of the Choronzon Society. 'Space Virgins of the Third Reich' is a homage to the erotic novels published by Maurice Girodias's Olympia Press in the 1950s, mostly written by poets like Alexander Trocchi or Christopher Logue, starving in Parisian garrets. Other writers Saul admires include Angela Carter, Guillaume Apollinaire, Louis Ferdinand Celine, P.G Wodehouse, Alfred Kubin, Peter Grey, Kenneth Grant, Alfred Jarry, B. Catling, Gunter Grass, Herman Hesse, Nicolas Goodricke Clarke, Bill Hopkins, Thomas Pynchon, Henry Miller and J.G Ballard. He is a guest contributor to Chloe Thurlow.com, where he has discussed the aesthetics of writing about sex. In addition to his writing and research, Saul has also worked as an antiquarian book dealer, travelling widely in Europe and North America. He has been personal secretary to the Countess of Margravia and private tutor to the daughters of the Earl of Mordiford. He was also employed at the famous Soho night-spot, the Purple Penguin, now sadly closed. When not writing, Saul composes electronic music on his analogue tape recorders, goes for long walks around London, his favourite city, or spends time with his cat, Montague.
