Stinky and the Goblet of Grief

By Peter Grant

Comedy & satire, Short stories | eBook

From time to time, Stinky mentions his granny’s smuggling career. He discovers he isn’t kidding when she reveals a long-hidden secret. Both Stinky and Eddie believe she should finish what she started decades earlier, but how? Granny’s long-lost treasure doesn’t want to reveal its secrets or the mystery of its past.

Peter Grant once saw a dazzling, diamond-covered gold chalice in a museum and thought that, if he had a few of them in the cupboard, guests wouldn't notice that he was serving cheap wine. Stinky's granny pulls a similar dazzler out of the attic in "Stinky and the Goblet of Grief," one of fifty-seven bestselling Stinky Stories. The story is also included in the final collection, "The Importance of Being Stinky, Volume 8." Peter Grant's own barware is more modest, although some of his glasses came from high-end outlet stores. Ask him for a metal Jefferson cup and you won't cut your lip on a chipped rim.
