The Kingdom: Part 1 of 4 (Oath of Iron)

By K. L. Peters

Action & adventure, Historical fiction, Religion & spirituality | eBook

Struggling to break free from the tyrannical ruler, Phillipe Lescovarre — conquerer of her kingdom and betrayer of her trust — Scottish Princess Gemria MacKendree embarks on a perilous journey to secure a document that will restore her family's honor. But always just behind lurks Lescovarre's assassin... About the series: In the year of Our Lord 1387, kings and sultans ruled the world, and men triumphed and fell in great battles to protect their lands. It was a time of conquest, but prosperity for some brought death and despair to others. Loyalties shifted like wind-driven sands across the desert, treachery and deceit lurked amid castle shadows. Yet those of integrity banded together in a secret pact to fight tyranny at all costs. Behold the flames that forged their faith into the Oath of Iron. Author K. L. Peters weaves a fast-paced tale of suspenseful quests through desert lands and foreboding castles. With love and faith at its core and peppered with swordplay, "Oath of Iron" is an epic tale of honor, intrigue, and treachery.
