The Man Who Would Stop A Clock

By James G Riley with Bernadine Riley

Action & adventure, Thriller | Paperback, eBook

From Dubai, through the peaceful English countryside, to the tourist sites of London, a group calling themselves the Executive relentlessly pursues Roger Harper and his family. Inextricably entangled in a deranged scheme to hold the British Government to ransom, Harper frantically uses his special ability in an attempt to thwart the cabal.

James has lived in London, Manchester, Bristol, and Exeter. He taught Math, Economics and Outdoor Pursuits whilst living in England. James now lives in Florida with his wife Bernadine, and their dog Barkley. They have eight wonderful grandchildren; five girls, three boys. In California and Arizona, he worked as a banker, stockbroker and insurance agent. George Orwell and H.G. Wells have inspired his writing. More recently he has enjoyed the novels of James Patterson, Blake Crouch and Hugh Howey. His books are available in paperback and e-book formats. His first published novel, a thriller, is entitled 'The Man Who Would Cheat At Cards'. The second book in the Roger Harper series is co-authored with his wife, Bernadine. Bernadine Riley, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, enjoys living in Florida with hubby and furry companion, Barkley. A former educator, gift and bookstore owner; she loved working with students in a college library. Creative arts, quilting and the challenge of a puzzle, are part of her DNA. Being a dreamer, her writing is like a road that is never straight. Sometimes, as she turns a corner, she will find that path she thought was lost, and the adventure continues. Their next project is to collaborate on the third book in the Roger Harper series.
