Chicago, 1954. Detective Ian Harlow has spent the last three years trying to catch a serial killer that the press have labelled, 'The Rose Killer'. After eight months of nothing a body turns up on the street with the usual calling card of a single stemmed red rose. The case then takes a personal twist as the killer starts taunting the detective to try and catch him. A cat and mouse chase ensues between the detective and the killer with bodies turning up more frequently than ever before. Can Detective Harlow catch the killer before the body count gets too high?

Gary Pearson lives in the south of England and has been a fan of reading all manor of stories since he was young. He loved the worlds created by people that he could get lost in. These stories have sparked the inspiration to sit down and write stories of his own that have been in his mind for years. He has released two novellas, been featured in two anthologies, and has another two releases planned for this year.
