From the Ground to God

By Geveryl Robinson

Thriller, General fiction | eBook

“I am a whore.” These four words begin the story of Jemimah, a teenaged “borderline ex prostitute,” struggling to find a way out of the street life she has lived since she was 12. After getting lost leaving a john’s house, she meets Jake, a gorgeous pimp who is obsessed with 2 things: his Really Raspberry acrylic fingernails, and Jesus. With the help of Coco, a quick witted nail salon owner, and Jemimah’s own strong will and determination, not even abuse, murder, or a horrifying suicide can keep her from completing her journey from the ground to God.
