Playing in the Rain

By Sandra J. Jackson

New adult fiction, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Thriller | Paperback, eBook, Audiobook

When the effects of a hypnosis inducing drug begin to fade, April not only remembers her name but is introduced to a sister she wasn’t aware she had. The more she learns about her environment, the more she wants to escape. One night, the girls awaken in a strange environment. Confused as to their whereabouts, the sound of rain, a sound they haven’t heard in a long time, interrupts their conversation and eventually lulls them to sleep. They are together, but where? When dawn arrives they get a glimpse of their new surroundings and find themselves in a nearly empty room with a large cabinet and a small window. It is a window that offers them a view of the world and a glimmer of hope for freedom.
