The Bad Shepherd

By Dale M. Nelson

Crime & mystery | eBook

Los Angeles in the 1980s: from the neon canyon of the Sunset Strip, the epicenter of rock-and-roll to the open warfare of the gang-ridden neighborhoods of South LA. It is a city of harsh contrast and it is a city on the brink of tearing itself apart. Bo Fochs and Mitchell Gaffney are LAPD narcotics detectives on an elite undercover unit chasing one of the largest cocaine suppliers the city has ever seen. As their investigation takes them deeper into the city’s darkest and most dangerous corners, the detectives must decide how far they’re willing to go to bring this network down and whether the outcome is worth the price they, and those around them, must pay to get it.

Dale M. Nelson is a graduate of the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications and former United States Air Force officer. He currently lives in Washington D.C.
