The Fabric of Murder

By William Savage

Historical fiction, Crime & mystery | eBook

Mr. Ashmole Foxe is an enigma in Norwich. He claims to be a bookseller, yet his shop is rarely open. He dresses in the most fashionable clothes and is clearly well-educated and at ease in all company. Yet where his money comes from nobody knows. When a leading cloth merchant in the city is murdered, the mayor and aldermen turn to Mr. Foxe to solve the crime, find a cunning killer and save the city’s most important and profitable trade from imminent collapse.

William Savage is the author of several historical mysteries. He has travelled widely and lived in most parts of the UK, as well as spending eleven years in the USA. Now he is retired and lives with his wife not far from the beautiful North Norfolk coast in eastern England.
