The God Machine

By Ken Newman

Action & adventure, Sci-Fi | Paperback, eBook

In 2014, Kieran Nash was inexplicably transported to a dangerous alien world whose advanced civilization had suffered an apocalyptic disaster and was now ruled by hordes of savage natives. Soon after his arrival, the bewildered nineteen-year-old narrowly escaped death by the intervention of a squad of German paratroopers, freshly plucked from 1944. Thousands of light years from the earth and out of options, Kieran formed an uneasy truce with the tough, enigmatic German leader, Captain Zimmer. Kieran and the war hardened German Fallschirmjäger set out across the dangerous new world to find a way home, unaware they were key players in a plan that affected the future of two worlds.

Ken Newman has loved stories of the supernatural since listening to his grandmother's folk tales of witches, angels, haints, and catawamps when he was a child. Author of the paranormal thrillers Forsaken, Bedeviled, and The Witch Tattoo, his fiction reflects his Tennessee roots and his love for all things-that-go-bump-in-the-night. He has now added to his science fiction resume of The Ark and Dead Ends with his newest novel, a time traveling adventure called, The God Machine. It is pure escapism at its best. When not writing, he enjoys sculpting, cheesy monster movies, and building the occasional trebuchet.
