The Good Luck Child

By Charley Mayhew

Fantasy, Action & adventure | eBook

In the Ancient Tongue, the name Dasmondh means "good-luck child". His parents told the Stoic One boy time and again that he is a lucky child indeed. When the Orcish Invasion--a long-running battle of Orcs against all others living on Mundus Patifeo--threatens his home of Avellino, Dasmondh and his parents are forced to flee for their lives to the Southern Continent. A terrible fate befalls them along the way, leaving the boy alone in the world. Luckily, his journey--full of grief, anger, and joy all at once--will cause a surprising turn in the Orcish Invasion's tide and give his life valuable meaning. Follow Dasmondh as he learns and grows, makes strange and wonderful friends, and fulfills his namesake of being the "good-luck child". "THE GOOD LUCK CHILD delivers on its promise to create a richly told, deeply layered, and fundamentally warm fantasy tale of a young man's battles with a wild and unpredictable world." - IndieReader.com
