The Jigsaw And The Fan

By Stewart Bint

Comedy & satire | Paperback, eBook

The satirical story of a dead trades unionist at the height of union power in the UK in the 1980s, who finds a strike stops him taking his rightful place in the after-life. He returns to Earth to haunt a stately home, and angered that a wealthy, titled man should make money from visitors to the mansion, he sets out to frighten away the hordes of paying tourists. The whole proceedings are looked upon by a pair of roguish guardian angels, more concerned with their own battle of wits than they are with the well-being of their unwitting pawns on Earth. But there is more to it than that. As the true plot unfolds Destiny herself takes the most important step in the history of the modern world.
