"The Saga of the Patriarchs" series tells the dramatic story of the call of Abraham and Sarah into the Promised Land through the eyes of Lot, one of the most misunderstood heroes of the Bible. Book One, "Long Road Out of Ur," creates a mysterious, yet quirky, backstory to explain what Abraham and his family did for 75 years before God called him to leave Ur.
In Book Two, "Where Your Treasure Lies," the family learns the Promised Land is not the Garden of Eden.

Follow a family from the common lands in south-west Scotland in the 1600s through their transition working as agricultural labourers after The Enclosures, to moving to towns to work in coal mines, across two world conflicts and finally to a life in sunny Australia in the 1950s. The McMurdo Family Series - Faeries, Farms and Folk; Ours, Yours and Mines and Far Across the Sea - feature real people, places and events. Smell the peat fires burning in the cottages, get a little coal dust on your hands and maybe shed a tear. For more information visit http://www.scottishbooks.webs.com

This is a great book! If you like jules verne, conan doyle etc. you'll like this book, 'The Alien Stone' by Barry Uglow. Classic historical fiction with a modern Alien conspiracy twist. Very well written and knowledgeable author. First in the series of The Adventures of Professor Margrave.

Hi guys, Souls of the Never is the first instalment in a series called Tales of the Neverwar. It's an epic tale of romance and fantasy, with a sci-fi backdrop. I'd love any comments or reviews and I'm more than willing to repay the favour.
